Council of Mosques- Tower Hamlets Condemns Manchester Attack Council of Mosques - Tower Hamlets expresses its sadness at the brutal attack on Manchester Arena last night.
Mr Hira Islam, Secretary General of Council of Mosques - Tower Hamlets said, “I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pray that those injured make a full and swift recovery. This is a sickening attack on innocent people, most of whom were young children. We hope the perpetrators of these barbaric acts are apprehended swiftly and the full force of the law is applied.”

There could be no justification for such crimanality and barbarism."

Council of Mosques – Tower Hamlets is deeply shocked by the horrific attack in France. This heinous attack is a crime against humanity and there is no justification for such crimes in any religion. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, and all the people of Paris. We stand in solidarity with the people of France despite the terrorists want to see us divided.

Council of Mosques- Tower Hamlets Condemns terrorist attack in France, Tunisia and Kuwait


Council of Mosques – Tower Hamlets strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on Friday, 26 June 2015 in France, Tunisia and Kuwait.
The attack on a US-owned gas factory near the city of Lyon in south eastern France, where a body was found and several people were injured. The attack that targeted a hotel in the city of Sousse, Tunisia, resulting in the death and injury of many Tunisians and foreign tourists. The attack on Kuwait’s oldest Shia mosques Friday prayers killed 27 people and more than 200 people were injured.
