Mayors Office Police & Crime Consultation Event

The Deputy Mayor of London, Stephen Greenhalgh, attending a series of consultations on MOPAC’s Police and Crime Plan across every borough in London, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Simon Byrne. Our meeting in Tower Hamlets will also be attended by the Borough Commander, Chief Superintendent Dave Stringer.

The Police and Crime Plan, the Public Access Plans for local policing and the Estates Strategy was published on 8 January on the MOPAC website.

Council of Mosques had undergone meetings with all members of mosques in Tower Hamlets. Creating awareness of major and minor local issues effecting the local residents and local worshippers.

Open Day 17/18 Nov 2012

Faith Building Funds

The Mayor of Tower Hamlets' Community Faith Buildings support scheme

The Community Faith Buildings support scheme’s purpose is to offer assistance to faith communities to repair, adapt and improve buildings in Tower Hamlets in which faith-based activities occur.

Grants of up to £75,000 are available

  • Are you a faith group managing a community faith building in Tower Hamlets?
  • Do you need financial support for the repair, adaptation or improvement of your community faith building(s)?
